Thanks to you I was able to print these in color and for each table. We learned how to analyze text structure, and each table had a printed text structure anchor chart. These resources provide my students with the support they need to deepen their understanding of the content.\r\n\r\nIn our previous module, students wrote children's books to tell the story of a Lost Child from Sudan after we finished reading the novel A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. We used a website called StoryBoard that to create the illustrations. Your donation ensured that I was able to print the students books in color! This is something that they will cherish and keep for years to come.\r\n\r\nFinally, having a printer has allowed me to print additional copies of materials that students have lost, workbook pages when they forget their workbook at home, and even coloring pages for them when we have some free time. I've been able to print materials when the schools copy machine has been broken.\r\n\r\nYou have made a huge difference in my classroom, and I saw that you made a second project of mine come true! Students like to sit there and take a deep breathe. \r\n\r\nThe magna tiles have become a a great tactile way for students to practice sounds, letters and the combination of sounds and letters to make some CVC words. They love using them for learning and building. \r\n\r\nThe students are enjoying all of the fidget toys for calm moments. We are waiting to show them the Piggy and elephant stuffed animals as we are reading more of those stories for read alouds as the year moves on.
