Students like to sit there and take a deep breathe. \r\n\r\nThe magna tiles have become a a great tactile way for students to practice sounds, letters and the combination of sounds and letters to make some CVC words. They love using them for learning and building. \r\n\r\nThe students are enjoying all of the fidget toys for calm moments. We are waiting to show them the Piggy and elephant stuffed animals as we are reading more of those stories for read alouds as the year moves on. A reliable color printer isn't just a convenience in my classroom—it immediately changes what students can access and understand. Clear, vibrant images now support their background knowledge before we dive into complex texts, which cuts through confusion and builds confidence. When kids can actually *see* what a story is referencing, they're less likely to check out and more likely to lean in.\r\n\r\nThe printer also lets me create scaffolds that actually work. Color-coding reading supports, differentiated organizers, and writing frames makes the structure of a task visible instead of mysterious. Students who normally struggle to track steps or understand expectations are already responding to these materials with more independence. I can tell when something genuinely helps them because they stop asking the same \"lost\" questions—and that's exactly what's happening.\r\n\r\nFinally, having a built-in scanner and copier means I can adapt materials on the spot instead of waiting for access to a shared machine that's often broken or backed up. I can scan workbook pages, duplicate essential forms, and adjust resources as needs come up in real time. That flexibility may sound small, but it directly affects how smoothly the room runs and how supported my students feel. Thank you for investing in something that makes a concrete daily difference.","fullyFundedDate":1756836496957,"projectUrl":"project/hot-off-the-press-student-voices-in-pri/9647175/","projectTitle":"Hot Off the Press: Student Voices in Print","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Farenga","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10221449_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764532049925","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10221449"},{"teacherId":9986225,"projectId":9535619,"letterContent":"I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation of a printer to our classroom. Your support means far more than the simple addition of a new piece of equipment—it brings meaningful, daily impact to both my teaching and my students' learning experiences in our 7th-grade ICT and mathematics classes. I am sincerely thankful for your thoughtfulness, and I want to share just how transformative this gift has already been.\r\n\r\nIn our ICT-integrated math classroom, access to reliable technology is essential. Many of our lessons require students to move between digital tools, problem-solving tasks, and hands-on activities. Before receiving this printer, we often faced challenges when preparing materials. Worksheets, coding templates, graphic organizers, project rubrics, and math practice sets had to be shared digitally only, which worked for some but not all students. Many of my students learn best with printed references they can annotate, highlight, and use alongside digital platforms. Your donation has made it possible to meet these varied learning needs with greater consistency and quality.\r\n\r\nThis printer allows me to provide immediate, tangible resources that support math concepts in ways technology alone cannot. When introducing new topics like ratios, algebraic expressions, or data representation, I can now print visual aids, step-by-step guides, and scaffolded practice pages that help students build confidence. During ICT-based projects—such as creating charts, coding simple programs, or analyzing data—students can print drafts of their work to review, revise, and share with peers. The ability to print directly in the classroom creates a more dynamic workflow, encourages collaboration, and helps students take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nFor many students, seeing their work physically printed brings a sense of pride. It turns their digital creations into something concrete and meaningful. This has been especially powerful during project-based learning, where having printed copies of their designs, data tables, or math models enhances presentations and deepens their understanding of the connection between digital tools and real-world applications.\r\n\r\nFor me as a teacher, your donation has removed a significant barrier. Instead of spending time waiting in line to use a shared school printer or adjusting lessons to avoid printing altogether, I can now devote more energy to planning creative, effective instruction. This printer streamlines the flow of classroom activities, reduces downtime, and gives me the flexibility to differentiate materials quickly for students who need extra support or enrichment.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has directly contributed to a more organized, engaging, and equitable classroom environment. It has improved efficiency, strengthened the quality of instruction, and allowed students to engage with mathematics and technology in richer, more interactive ways. Most of all, it has shown our students that there are people who believe in their potential and are willing to invest in their success.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting our classroom, our work, and our students. Your contribution makes a lasting difference, and we are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1755462437124,"projectUrl":"project/printer-needed-for-accessible-lessons-an/9535619/","projectTitle":"Printer Needed for Accessible Lessons and Hands-On Activities","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Malek","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9986225_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754627132950","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9986225"},{"teacherId":8897978,"projectId":7453251,"letterContent":"Since receiving these resources, my students have been able to engage with math in ways that were not possible before. Many of our donors use technology and visuals daily, but may not realize just how transformative these tools can be in a classroom—especially in a community where supplies are limited. The laminated reference sheets, colorful anchor charts, and differentiated visual supports have become essential learning tools that my students rely on every single day.\r\n\r\nThe technology and materials you helped fund allow my visual learners—including several students with learning disabilities—to access math with clarity and confidence. By providing reusable, durable, and brightly colored visuals, students now have resources that support stronger brain connections, deeper understanding, and more independent problem-solving. Laminated materials mean students can take ownership of their learning; they use dry-erase markers to practice, erase, and try again without the fear of making mistakes. The colorful ink has allowed me to produce vibrant, engaging resources that immediately capture their attention and turn abstract concepts into something they can see, touch, and interact with.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting impacts has been watching specific students who once struggled now eagerly reach for their visual tools. A few of my students who typically hesitate during independent math time now use their laminated charts as a guide, helping them persevere through problems they might previously have given up on. Seeing their confidence grow has been one of the greatest gifts this project has given our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for making these meaningful moments possible. Your generosity has created long-lasting, high-quality tools that will continue supporting students all year long.","fullyFundedDate":1688146331609,"projectUrl":"project/colorful-visual-references-for-student-e/7453251/","projectTitle":"Colorful Visual References for Student Engagement","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Higgs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8897978_orig.jpg?crop=271,271,x179,y253&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1687447794453","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8897978"},{"teacherId":9986225,"projectId":9530677,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation.
