The new chairs and stools have already made a meaningful difference in our reading intervention groups.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were so excited to see the new seating in our small group area. Many of our previous chairs were broken or uncomfortable, so having sturdy, comfortable seats immediately made the space feel more welcoming and ready for learning. The students noticed right away and were eager to sit down and begin our lesson.\r\n\r\nTwo of the chairs have been especially helpful for students who struggle with focus. Having a comfortable and consistent seat during our reading intervention time helps them stay in one place, remain calm, and participate more fully in the lesson. I've already noticed that they are more attentive and engaged during reading activities. \r\n\r\nAnother big change is that students are no longer competing or worrying about where they will sit. Before, we often had limited usable seating, which sometimes caused distractions. Now, every student has a spot, and the group can settle in quickly and focus on learning. This has helped our small group instruction run much more smoothly.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue using these chairs and stools daily during reading intervention lessons. Students will be practicing key literacy skills such as decoding, fluency, and comprehension while working together in a comfortable and supportive learning space.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped create an environment where students can focus, feel supported, and do their best learning. Students were able to revisit these charts, helping them make connections and deepen comprehension. Literacy games such as the Touch & Read Syllables Word Match and the Vowel Teams game provided hands-on practice with phonics skills, supporting decoding, word recognition, and reading confidence—especially for early and developing readers who benefit from multisensory learning.\r\n\r\nClassroom organization tools also played an important role in supporting independence and focus. Caddies helped organize pencils, erasers, and crayons so students could quickly access materials and transition smoothly between activities. Because of you, my classroom is filled with new materials that immediately sparked excitement, curiosity, and creativity.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies arrived, my students' eyes lit up. They couldn't wait to explore the vibrant watercolors, oil pastels, and modeling materials. One of the first moments that truly stood out was watching students carefully open the Model Magic, squeezing it gently in their hands, and excitedly asking what we would be making next. The watercolors and fresh white pans allowed them to see how colors mix and change in a way they hadn't experienced before, and the metallic tempera paints felt especially \"magical\" to them.\r\n\r\nWe are already using these resources across multiple projects. Students are painting with watercolors and tempera to explore contrast, line, and texture, layering oil pastels for expressive detail, and sculpting with Model Magic to transform ideas into three-dimensional forms. The vellum paper and satin cord are being used to add special finishing touches—turning student artwork into keepsakes, wearable art, and display pieces they are incredibly proud of. Even practical items like the wash basin have made a huge difference, helping us clean up smoothly and stay focused on learning.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building on these skills by combining materials in more complex ways—mixing painting, drawing, and sculpture into finished artworks that reflect their ideas, stories, and identities. These supplies allow my students to take creative risks, problem-solve, and truly see themselves as artists.\r\n\r\nYour support has given my students access to high-quality materials and meaningful art experiences they will remember.
