It has changed the way we do instruction in so many ways! When the students first saw the materials, they were excited to play with them and use them during our center time. \r\n\r\nWe use the sound mats almost daily in our small group lessons. It really helps the students to hear the different parts of words. It is very helpful for all students but especially those that are learning English for the first time. The students also really enjoy the legos and the magnatiles. They build with them during our free time and then write stories and draw pictures about what they are making. It really encourages them to speak and write! It is so much fun to watch. \r\n\r\nAs my students continue to strengthen their reading skills, I will continue to work with the materials you have provided so generously for the classroom. We will use the sound tubs to have students write what is in each container.
