Before your generous donation, I spent a considerable amount of time transitioning between activities—printing materials, waiting for a shared device, or circulating physical papers. Now, thanks to the instantaneous feedback and seamless digital organization it provides, I can transition between a vocabulary review, a targeted reading activity, and an independent practice session in mere seconds. This increase in efficiency is more than a time-saver; it means we've gained an extra 10–15 minutes of actual learning time in every 45-minute block. The instruction is smoother and the pacing is far more efficient, allowing me to be a better, more responsive teacher.\r\n\r\nThe device provides immediate, private feedback. When a student is learning a tough new concept, they don't have to wait for me to check their work or feel embarrassed if they get an answer wrong; the technology tells them right away and offers a hint. This instant validation and correction builds their confidence, allowing them to take the necessary risks in their learning. Because the learning materials are now digital and dynamic, I can instantly adjust the content to meet each student exactly where they are—giving one student an extra practice problem while another moves on to a more challenging text. The technology is making my instruction not just faster, but truly customized for every student's needs.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your belief in our students and our mission. Your generosity is not just a donation of hardware; it is an investment in personalized learning and greater efficiency that will benefit dozens of students for years to come. We are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1758908329436,"projectUrl":"project/touch-learn-and-grow-fund-our-classro/9761803/","projectTitle":"Touch, Learn, and Grow: Fund Our Classroom's New Monitor","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Madeleine","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6490713_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758818965282","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6490713"},{"teacherId":135819,"projectId":9002928,"letterContent":"Before I presented the class with the bottles, I let them know that they were going to get a surprise the next day. They were so excited. I made a whole slide show reminding them of our journey and learning about the plastic pollution. I then had music and opened up the boxes in front of them. And I started say, \"You get a bottle and you get a bottle, no more single use plastic water bottles!!!\" It was a lot of fun and exciting for alll. We immediately wrote letters and took pictures to send to Donors Choose. \r\n\r\nOur project being funded has really given the students the drive to not use single use bottles and also encourage each other to not do that. I have witnessed them remind their classmates to use their Stanley bottles and the other person apologize and genuinely feel bad for not having it and giving them an excuse.\r\n\r\nIt is great to see a sea of reusable water bottles on their desks. It demonstrates the impact our literacy module had on them and how much it has impacted their life.
