Many of my students benefit from strong visual supports, and the use of color helps them distinguish key vocabulary, identify main ideas, and categorize information related to STEM topics and hearing science. This simple shift has increased engagement and improved comprehension, especially for students who struggle with processing and attention.\r\n\r\nThe dry erase boards have been especially impactful during our lessons on audiograms. Students now actively mark intensity and frequency, circle areas of hearing loss, and visually map what different sounds look like on an audiogram.
