This school year has been hectic and I was able to facilitate a workshop to my scholars about hygiene and distribute hygiene bags with the items donated to ensure my students are practicing the healthy hygiene habits that was discussed. \r\n\r\nThe students were very appreciative and excited to use the products in the bag, some students using the chap sticks on the spot. Many of the students are unaware of the struggles that their families go through to keep basic needs met and being able to provide every student with something, makes sure that students are not singled out. Students had opportunites to read in class within their small groups session and they were able to take books home using our lending library. The studnts were so excited when I set the library system up and they were able to participate.
