Thanks to your support, my students have had the incredible opportunity to practice and develop their writing skills in a confident and engaging manner. \r\nWhen we received the news that our new dry erase boards had arrived, the excitement in the room was palpable. My students erupted with enthusiasm, jumping out of their seats to unpack and set up our boards. It was a joyous moment as they immediately dove into writing on their new surfaces.\r\nThe impact of this project has been phenomenal. The students explored their creativity and expressed themselves freely, building their writing confidence with every stroke of the marker. They even took the time to write thank-you notes to show their appreciation and bid farewell to our old dry erase easel, a cherished but worn out tool.\r\nYour donation has not only equipped my classroom with essential writing materials but has also fostered a love for writing among my students. They are excited to express themselves, share their ideas, and collaborate with one another. \r\nThank you for believing in our students and for making a difference in their educational journey. Your generosity has provided essential seating options that will significantly enhance my students learning experiences. We are using the individual rugs during circle time and also during instruction. Be that Math or Literacy. It feels good in the heart to see them seating on the rugs not directly on the cold and hard floor the way they did before we got your help. \r\nThe day the rugs were delivered, the children could not wait to help me tear the box apart. They saw the calming colors and immediately started calling dibs on their favorites. With the circular individual rugs, my students get to enjoy flexible sitting arrangements, allowing them to find comfortable spots around the classroom. We are a kindergarten classroom. My students are starting to read independently. Our next steps are to start forming reading clubs. We need to use the space around the room. Lucky for us, the rugs are portable. We can seat comfy even in the hallways. Now that is really just great. \r\nMy students and I thank you and hope you get to help other students and teachers with similar needs.\r\n\r\nSincerely,\r\nMaria Bergamini\r\nKindergarten teacher (K-105)\r\nPS/IS 155B Nicholas Herkimer","fullyFundedDate":1735239995180,"projectUrl":"project/reading-time-grab-your-rug/8713859/","projectTitle":"Reading Time!
