Your donations of toys, books, pencils, and other essential supplies helped our students begin the school year with excitement and a sense of possibility. They were truly surprised and delighted to walk into a room filled with new materials created just for them and their needs.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, my students not only have the tools they need to learn, they also have opportunities to grow. With their new classroom jobs, they are practicing responsibility, teamwork, and independence. The cleaning supplies you provided have empowered them to take pride in keeping their learning environment clean and welcoming each day.\r\n\r\nMy students are excelling and growing everyday not only academically but behaviorally. Their favorite items are the markers and prize box. They are artists and drawing helps to focus and center them. They many times use to toys to help with multi sensory processing and self sooting of stimming. \r\n\r\nYour contribution made a meaningful difference in our classroom, and we are deeply grateful. Thank you for believing in our students and helping create a wonderful start to their school year. \r\n\r\nEvery one of you hold such a special place in my heart and I am forever grateful. Because of your support, we were able to purchase new equipment that has made a tremendous impact on our students' physical education experience. These resources have truly transformed our lessons and provided our students with engaging, developmentally appropriate opportunities to build their motor skills, coordination, and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe excitement in our students' eyes when they first saw the new materials was unforgettable! Many of our students, particularly those with autism and sensory processing challenges, thrive when they have access to structured, hands-on learning tools. The colored weighted bowling set has been an instant favorite, helping students develop hand-eye coordination and confidence as they take turns rolling and throwing the ball to knock the pins down. \r\n\r\nAs we continue integrating these resources into our curriculum, our next focus is on starting our soccer unit, especially now that we have adapted equipment to ensure accessibility for all students. The soccer goal has provided the perfect opportunity to introduce modified team sports, especially with team vests, giving students the chance to practice turn-taking, sportsmanship, and goal-setting in an inclusive environment. We are excited to see how this unit will foster teamwork and skill development among our students.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a meaningful difference in our students' lives, and we are beyond grateful for your investment in their growth and well-being. They eagerly participated and explained with delight, using their preferred mode of communication, as each item was unboxed. As a classroom team, we collaborated on where the best place was to keep all the new sensory toys. \r\n\r\nWe established parameters as to when and under what circumstances these items can be used and how they would be rotated. My students get so excited for \"sensory time\" and they wait to see it on our schedule. They are aware that they must share with their peers and are learning to request items as well. The \"Spot\" books are helping with recognizing different emotions and the most appropriate ways to act on them. \r\n\r\nThank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
