They help my more active learners stay focused and comfortable during class. Instead of needing to get up and move around, students can gently wiggle or shift in their seats while still staying on task. It's been incredible to see how much longer they can concentrate and how much happier and more engaged they are during lessons.\r\n\r\nI've noticed that students who used to have trouble sitting still are now choosing the wobble stools every day because they help them feel calm and focused. The stools have also created a sense of choice and ownership. Students feel trusted to pick what helps them learn best.\r\n\r\nI'm so grateful for the donors who made this possible. These small changes in seating have made a big impact on our classroom community, creating a space where every student can focus, participate, and succeed.\r\n\r\nThank you for supporting my students and helping make learning a little more comfortable and a lot more fun!","fullyFundedDate":1756232022713,"projectUrl":"project/usbe-ai-for-k-12-education/9631006/","projectTitle":"USBE AI for K-12 Education","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Drew","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8280253_orig.jpg?crop=2208,2208,x0,y184&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1717530664108","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8280253"},{"teacherId":10166432,"projectId":9569862,"letterContent":"I am writing to share the positive impact of a recent creative activity that deeply enriched my English Language Arts (ELA) students' learning experience: designing and laminating their own \"Favorite Character Bookmarks.\"\r\n This project invited students to choose a favorite character from a book they had read and create a personalized bookmark inspired by that character. After designing and illustrating their bookmarks, we laminated them to provide a lasting, tangible connection to their work.\r\n Students thought critically about character traits, motivations, and relationships. To effectively represent their favorite character, they had to recall details from the text and articulate why that character resonated with them. This encouraged deeper reading comprehension and textual analysis.\r\n The design process allowed students to express themselves artistically while taking ownership of their learning. They were proud to create something uniquely their own, and laminating the bookmarks gave the project a polished, professional feel that further boosted their confidence.\r\n Overall, this simple yet impactful activity connected creativity, literacy, and personal expression in a meaningful way. It reinforced key ELA standards while making reading more personal and enjoyable for every student involved.\r\n Thank you for your continued support of projects that help bring literature to life for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1755116857439,"projectUrl":"project/ela-character-bookmarks/9569862/","projectTitle":"ELA Character Bookmarks","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Von Trapp","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10166432"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_107087","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":19,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":83,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"US Census Data for the surrounding geographic area","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"Census ZCTA","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":84.0,"schoolId":107087,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Providence Hall Junior High Charter School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Providence Hall Junior High Charter School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/providence-hall/providence-hall-junior-high-charter-school/107087"}
