The seat packs help the kids stay organized and the computer organizers have made it easy for them to access their personal laptop. The seat packs have been the perfect size for my first graders. \r\nEvery student loved getting their own brand new seat pack this year. They have enjoyed getting to organize it themselves. They have shown a lot of responsibility with taking care of their own supplies and for keeping their seat pack organized. \r\nI have done several projects with Donors Choose and I truly cannot express how grateful I am. It is so comforting to know that there is always an option to ask for help. Thank you so much for your help in making our classroom a more organized place! Many of the books we got were part of a series that I didn't have all of the books for. Since the books have come in, my kids are vigorously reading the next book in their series, trying to finish before the end of the school year. \r\nThere isn't a whole lot of time for reading in class because we are working so hard on math, ELA, and writing. It is important to have books that grab students' attention so that they are motivated to squeeze every possible word in during and after school. I am proud to say that although my students don't get a lot of time to read in class, they have completed 692- 150 paged books this school year so far. \r\nThank you again!","fullyFundedDate":1745428840848,"projectUrl":"project/more-and-more-books/9229149/","projectTitle":"More and More Books","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lewis- Prospect Elementary","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6063982_orig.jpg?crop=666,666,x0,y126&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1571246838679","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/lewis5th-prospect"},{"teacherId":9990609,"projectId":9225842,"letterContent":"Instantly, I was able to see the love for reading return for my students. I usually start the day with the wobble chairs at my small group reading table. My reading groups are more attentive and the flow of the lesson has improved as well with more students volunteering to add to our discussions. As soon as small group time ends, students eagerly start asking for me to announce whose turn it is to use a wobble stool for the day. \r\n\r\nWhen you observe a student sitting on a chair, you will see a student who sits up and keeps more focus on the task at hand, whether it be a whole group lesson or independent work. Sitting on a wobble stool results in an increase in overall alertness that pays off in increased student participation and learning. I can't imagine my classroom without them and look forward to finding other funding sources to add more flexible seating to my room.","fullyFundedDate":1734707300429,"projectUrl":"project/wobble-chairs-for-active-learning-in-4th/8725948/","projectTitle":"Wobble Chairs for Active Learning in 4th Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Marshall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9720872"},{"teacherId":6063982,"projectId":8844917,"letterContent":"Unfortunately, reading for fun in my classroom doesn't happen as often as I would like because there just isn't enough time in the day. However, all of my kids have books that they are reading at their desk and relish the opportunity to pick up where they left off. Even if they only have a few minutes in between activities, many of them race to get to their books! \r\nThis book order helped me get sci-fi books for my science lovers, a few for graphic novels for my reluctant readers, and helped me complete/add to series that I already had.
