These chairs have been especially helpful for students with ADHD who benefit from movement while they learn. The gentle rocking motion gives them a controlled and appropriate way to move their bodies while still staying engaged, focused, and part of the lesson. When the students first saw the new chairs, they were so excited to try them and loved having another seating option to choose from. It has been wonderful to watch students learn which types of seating help their bodies feel comfortable and their brains stay ready to learn. This year, we have a higher number of students with ADHD and Autism, so having flexible seating options is more important than ever. We are hoping to add a few more of these chairs to our classroom set throughout the year so that more students can benefit from them. Thank you to our donors for helping us create a classroom where students are supported, included, and given the opportunity to learn in a way that works best for them.
