Your support made a lasting impact on our students and sparked a deep curiosity about birds and the natural world.\r\n\r\nWith the binoculars and tools, students were able to observe birds closely and apply their knowledge during our field trip. It was wonderful to see them so engaged, identifying species and making connections to what they've learned in class.\r\n\r\nThe owl pellets were a particular highlight—students were fascinated as they carefully dissected them and discovered the tiny bones inside. Many of them were amazed to find skulls and other skeletal parts, and it led to some truly enthusiastic discussions and questions.\r\n\r\nInspired by all of this, our students have also been drawing detailed pictures of birds, showing off what they've observed and learned. Furthermore, for whole group reading lessons, students sometimes have the choice of choosing their own text to work with for certain projects, which has truly helped with furthering their engagement as we learn new concepts like describing characters or identifying a moral/lesson of a story.\r\n\r\nIt has been so special to build our classroom library with your incredible generosity and heart to help further the love for reading in our classroom community.
