These magazines have quickly become a meaningful part of our classroom learning. We use them at least three times each week to practice important reading skills, strengthen morphology, build vocabulary, and apply strategies that help students become more confident readers. The high-interest topics capture students' attention and give them a reason to want to read, discuss, question, and learn.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, reading has not always been easy, and learning gaps can make it difficult for them to connect with grade-level texts. These magazines give us an opportunity to build that missing background knowledge while practicing the skills students need to be successful across all of their classes. Whether we are breaking down a challenging word, identifying supporting details, making inferences, or discussing something new we have learned, every article becomes and opportunity for growth.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping me provide engaging, meaningful reading experiences that go beyond a worksheet or textbook.
