The staff were grateful and excited to have first aid kits for every classroom and walkie talkies for the building.\r\nWe have decided as a staff to put the first aid kits in our emergency bags and the front office. Every classroom in our build now is equipped and able to take the kits on any field trips. We live in a very rural area and having these kits give up the supplies need to help our students until medical personal can get to us. \r\nThe walkie talkies are now important part of our school. Like I have said we live in a very rural area and our school is located right off the interstate. With the help of the radios we can now radio into the building from the playground for help if needed, we can radio to the playground if a parent comes early, and we can also radio to any area in the building. These have become so vital because we only have 2 adults on the playground with the students, and now if something happens we are not leaving one person out and one person to come get help.","fullyFundedDate":1786972567776,"projectUrl":"project/safe-and-security/10352261/","projectTitle":"Safe and Security","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McManigal","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7603037_orig.jpg?crop=2134,2134,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1648843584918","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-mcmanigal"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_79257","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":74,"numTeachers":9,"percentFrplEligible":28,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":2,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"8.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":75.0,"schoolId":79257,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Potter - Dix Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Potter - Dix Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/nebraska/potter-dix-public-schools-9/potter-dix-elementary-school/79257"}
