Because of you, our students were able to receive a U-Bass. This U-Bass provided a means for students to strengthen music performance and literacy skills. It allowed them to develop their talents and have the ability to share music with others. You also provided an autoharp case. This case helped protect our instrument so it could be used at school, transported home for practice, and transported to the concert.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our students were able to positively impact others in our community. This spring, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders presented a program which served as a way to raise awareness of the need to help feed the hungry in our community and provided a canned food drive for our local outreach. During the program, students played both the U-Bass and autoharp on stage as part of the production. Audience members were encouraged to bring a canned food item to donate when attending. The performance was a success, and nearly 100lbs of food was collected and subsequently donated to our local outreach.
