They have read books using it. They use it for movement breaks sometimes. They use it for partner and team work. They use it to complete math work. They really use it for just about EVERYTHING.\r\n\r\nThe group that really enjoys the monitor the most are those who wear glasses or have issues with their vision. The look on the students' faces when they first saw them is indescribable. They were so excited! The students wanted to use them for everything and they do! They play games on them, read on them, complete computer work on them, use them to work outside, and more. \r\n The groups that seem to enjoy them the most are the ones that have been diagnosed with ADHD, the students who are new to learning English, and those on the Autism spectrum. The variety and flexibility of how they get to complete work for the day is much needed. With the Stand Stations, they can stand or sit while working. They can go outside some days. Work in the hallway when they need more privacy. They can stand by the window. They can even use them to work with a partner when needed. \r\n My classroom hasn't been the same since I have incorporated the usage of the Stand Stations! These gifts have made a world of difference in my classroom, especially for my autistic children, who are thriving with these new tools.\r\n\r\nThe printer allows us to bring vibrant visuals into our social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons, which is key in helping my students process and understand emotions in a more engaging way. The visual stimulation of colorful charts, stories, and activities has truly sparked their interest and helped them connect in ways that were challenging before.\r\n\r\nThe laptop is an equally powerful tool. It opens up an entire world of interactive learning opportunities, helping my students engage with online lessons, educational games, and even virtual social skills training. The technology allows for personalization and flexibility, catering to each student's needs at their own pace. Many of my students have found new ways to express themselves, whether through creative projects or using speech-to-text software, which builds their confidence and communication skills.\r\n\r\nSome of my students have especially warmed to the laptop. Some have found a newfound passion for drawing and creating digital art that helps them express their emotions.
