Your support has completely transformed our 7th-grade Literacy and Learning classroom into a dynamic, student-centered environment. During a recent 40-minute independent writing block, one of my energetic students who usually struggles to sit still at a standard desk grabbed a wobble stool and set up at a high-top counter. The subtle movement allowed him to channel his physical energy while keeping his mind fully focused, and he ended up writing an entire draft of his essay without a single break. At the bell, he looked at his finished paper with total pride, realizing just how much he can accomplish when given the right workspace.\r\n\r\nWhen the packages first arrived, the classroom erupted with genuine excitement. The students were thrilled to unbox the materials, and their reactions were priceless—one student even looked around at the new setup and asked, \"Are these really for us?\" Seeing high-quality options laid out just for them made my 12- and 13-year-olds feel truly trusted, respected, and valued as young adults taking ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our students are using their new setups to take on ambitious literacy goals. They are currently keeping reflection logs to track which seating choices yield their best focus, using those optimal arrangements to gradually increase their uninterrupted reading stamina by five minutes each week, and drafting a student-led charter to manage these choices responsibly.
