In today's technology-driven world, students and teachers rely heavily on digital resources for learning and instruction. While technology provides many advantages, students often miss the hands-on experience of creating tangible projects they can physically see and share. Your donation has helped bridge that gap by giving students access to materials and opportunities they would not normally have in the classroom. Seeing their digital work printed in vibrant color brought excitement and pride to many students, making learning feel more meaningful and personal.\r\n\r\nOne of the most impactful activities made possible through your donation was the creation of Dream/Vision Boards. Students who are not typically engaged in classroom activities became motivated and eager to participate. They were able to express themselves creatively through cutting, designing, researching images, and organizing their ideas into unique visual projects. The enthusiasm and joy students displayed throughout the process demonstrated how valuable hands-on learning experiences can be.","fullyFundedDate":1769177665662,"projectUrl":"project/because-learning-looks-better-in-color/9973643/","projectTitle":"Because Learning Looks Better in Color","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Green","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10005388_orig.png?crop=278,278,x19,y6&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745527129725","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10005388"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_7048","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":629,"numTeachers":38,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":86,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":2,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"16.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":78.7,"schoolId":7048,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Plummer Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Plummer Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/los-angeles-unified-school-district/plummer-elementary-school/7048"}
