The mailbox system has been especially helpful; it keeps student materials safe and organized for bringing home. With a little extra from product availability, I purchased new items for our desk pets — the students earn tokens for positive behaviors and kindness, and on Fridays they buy small rewards, which has been a wonderful way to reinforce expectations and practice math skills. The kids are thrilled with the cute items and the holiday cheer we added.
