Thanks to your generosity, our \"Right-Size Chairs for Growing Minds\" project has been fully funded—and the difference it is already making in our classroom is remarkable.\r\n\r\nBefore your support, our classroom chairs were a mismatched collection gathered over many years. Some were too big, forcing students to perch uncomfortably. Others were too small, causing knees to bump into desks. A few were barely holding together, with wobbly legs or missing screws—one was literally hanging on by just a single screw. These chairs were not just uncomfortable; they were a daily distraction for students who were trying to focus on learning.\r\n\r\nMy first graders are bright, curious, and full of energy. They work hard every day, but I often saw them fidgeting, shifting, or even kneeling in their seats to reach their work. Instead of focusing fully on reading, writing, and math, they were adjusting themselves to fit their furniture—when it should have been the other way around.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, this has completely changed.\r\n\r\nWhat may seem like a small change has had an immediate and powerful impact. With chairs that fit them properly, students can sit with good posture, keep their feet on the floor, and work at their desks without straining. I have already noticed an improvement in their focus during lessons and independent work. There is less wiggling and fewer complaints of being uncomfortable. The chairs also make our classroom look more organized and welcoming, which has boosted the pride students feel in their learning space.\r\n\r\nThese chairs are more than just furniture—they are a daily reminder to my students that people outside our classroom believe in them. Your kindness shows them that their education matters and that they are worth investing in. This lesson in generosity and community support is something they will carry with them long after first grade.\r\n\r\nThese chairs will serve not only this class, but many classes in the years ahead. Dozens, even hundreds, of students will benefit from your generosity. Every time a child sits down comfortably to learn, you will be a part of that moment.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart—thank you. You didn't just buy chairs. You gave comfort, focus, dignity, and the priceless feeling of being cared for.","fullyFundedDate":1746786025289,"projectUrl":"project/right-size-chairs-for-growing-minds/9266009/","projectTitle":"Right-Size Chairs for Growing Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. White","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7673457_orig.jpg?crop=1242,1242,x0,y37&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745367414310","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7673457"},{"teacherId":9823701,"projectId":8915310,"letterContent":"Through you donation my students have found a true love for reading!
