It has already benefitted this year's students and will help my students next year start of the year.\r\n\r\nTeachers always get excited about new supplies. Getting a box of Kleenex or glue sticks donated can make my day. You should have heard the cheers coming from the students when we tried out the colored pencil sharpener for the first time. When you put in your pencil, it grabs it, pulls it down to sharpen it, and then raises it back up for you to remove. No more manually sharpening colored pencils (which by the way, takes forever). I had to dismiss students one at a time so there wasn't a stamped to try it! The regular electric pencil sharpener was a hit as well. \"Mrs. Swensen, it's so shiny and new! You don't have to hold the shavings thing closed so it will work!\"\r\n\r\nI can't wait to use the plastic dividers in my students' binders next year. Our dividers this year were supposed to be sturdy, but the tabs tore off within the first month. I won't have to worry about that with the plastic ones. I will be able to provide a math notebook and writing notebook for each student with the spiral notebooks that were a part of my project.
