This has really helped support students and allow them to look forward to something as they continue to work hard in their classes. \r\nStudents have also been able to find games on there to support their reading and math goals. This walking pad allows them the chance to get out energy after they have spent time in their desks and at tables. \r\nI have students already coming to my room to take a break where they are working on their assignments in class as well as walking on the walking pad to use up the built-up energy they have. \r\nI also have students who have turned to the walking pad as an outlet when they need to self-regulate. Many students with autism use stemming to regulate.
