Because of you, we were able to get fidgets, games, sports equipment, calming coloring sheets, and small candy rewards for our special education students—and these items make a huge difference every day.\r\nFidgets help students stay focused and manage their energy. Games and sports equipment give them fun ways to build social skills, teamwork, and confidence. Coloring sheets help them relax when they're overwhelmed, and candy rewards give us an easy, motivating way to celebrate their efforts and successes.\r\n\r\nYour support helps our students feel comfortable, engaged, and proud of themselves at school and fosters a warming environment. I brought all of them down on the first day of resource once they arrived and they were enthusiastic towards using them. While some students had certain work to do, the ones that had free time were able to pick up the games and start playing. Most of them had not been played by the students before, so they were able to learn something new and interact with their peers.\r\nThe quarter at my school just ended, so we were able to \"celebrate\" and played Pictionary (from the order). We have a TV in the room, and we used that to take turns drawing. The game was a huge success as it gathered us all together and utilized an event, they would not be able to replicate at home. Handing out Airheads also got them very excited!","fullyFundedDate":1768750619539,"projectUrl":"project/comfortable-culture/10026757/","projectTitle":"Comfortable Culture","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Nikolaou","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9835358"},{"teacherId":9834103,"projectId":9669704,"letterContent":"Thank you for the wonderful donation. Since the addition of the white board and markers, I have been able to step away from notes packets and have my students up and moving while practicing.
