We were so excited to open the packages and use the materials in our preschool classroom. These writing materials have provided my preschoolers with the tools to develop critical foundational skills, including improved fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive abilities like memory and visual recognition. \r\nI have noticed, that since we added these materials to our classroom, our students are requesting the writing and literacy center more. They are excited to learn to read and write, and the adaptative materials used with the pencils have helped tremendously in their fine motor development. This has helped us in so many ways. It was super exciting to see all of the packages arrive and being able to open them in front of the classroom. The students excitedly took turns with the materials and even worked together to solve simple math equations. The literacy materials have encouraged our young learners to identify letters and even begin to write! The flexible seating stools allow students to pull up a seat next to their working partner's desk and work collaboratively. The headphones help our students focus and quietly get their online work completed to meet daily and weekly requirements. Our super science area now provides our students with opportunity to access their science materials on a shelf that is mobile, extends STEM and is accessible. We use the mobile STEM shelf to house our STEM materials and the students have fun using the magnetic sides of it. \r\n\r\nWhen the huge boxes came in the children were curious and excited to see what was in inside. We opened up the boxes, assembled a few things and we were good to go! The sensory table gives my students time to explore their senses and has been a great addition to the classroom. The table and chair set has given us a safe space to sit in and use with our small science manipulatives. Getting this project funded has extended our learning in science and has made it engaging and fun.
