The students can easily see how much longer their centers and outside time is now. When the timer shows 5 minutes left the students verbalize how many minutes are left learning valuable math and time management skills. The students are using the paint and the faces to create self portraits of themselves. The students are also creating different books to be laminated for the literacy center. So far they have created a name book, a breathing book, and an alphabet book. These materials have helped enhance our learning in the classroom!\r\n\r\nWhen the timer was placed in our classroom, all the students instantly asked what it was! They get excited seeing the amount of red representing how long they have to play with their friends. The new art materials were a huge hit and everyone wanted to go create in the art center.
