Students are most excited about the composition books that contain the graph paper. As I walk around my classes during the days following the distribution of the materials, many students are now choosing to work math problems in their new composition books. Additionally, the Sharpie gel pens are a huge hit. Teachers and staff are envious of the pens that you provided to our students.\r\n The students were very thankful as they first received the materials. Many students had forgot about the project all together. I was quick to remind them that members of our community have faith in them, and also see the value of a quality education.\r\n The impact that your generosity has had on the students will be felt throughout the remainder of the school year, and far into the future. Not only were the students provided with quality school supplies, the students were also given an example of caring about others.
