One of the most memorable moments was during a recent school event where students worked together to prepare and serve food to staff, students, and families. Students rotated through different job responsibilities such as cooking, preparing orders, handling customer service, and organizing supplies. This hands-on experience allowed them to apply classroom lessons in teamwork, communication, entrepreneurship, and responsibility in a real-world setting.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new equipment, they were extremely excited and eager to get started. Many of them had never used professional-style food service equipment before, so they were thrilled to have the opportunity to learn with real tools that made them feel like they were operating an actual business. Their excitement immediately increased student participation and engagement, and they took pride in learning how to safely and properly use each item.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue building their business and hospitality skills through additional school events and classroom projects. They are currently working on lessons involving budgeting, marketing, customer service, and product management as they plan future concession opportunities. These resources are helping students develop confidence, leadership, and career-ready skills that they can apply both inside and outside the classroom.
