These materials immediately became part of our daily routine and transformed a corner of our room into a shared learning space. Students helped repot the smaller plants right away and continue to move them to larger pots as needed.\r\n\r\nCaring for the plants has given students real responsibility. They rotate the plants under the grow light, check soil moisture, and watch for changes in color and growth. One student noticed new leaves forming after we adjusted the light schedule, which led to a class discussion about consistency and plant needs. Seeing visible growth helped students understand that small, daily actions make a difference. \r\n\r\nWe talked about plant relating to ourselves and the care we give each other for personal growth. The plants have also made our classroom feel calmer and more welcoming. Students often check on the plants when they arrive, and they take pride in caring for something together.
