Working in pairs, students used the new handles to maneuver safely through slalom cones, practice cooperative push-and-pull relays, and navigate tight turns without a single pinched finger—a constant worry with our old, handle-free boards!\r\n\r\nWhen the students first walked into the gym and saw the new materials stacked and ready to go, the energy was electric. Their eyes lit up, and several students literally gasped. The immediate response was, \"Look at all the cool colors!\" and \"Wait, these have real handles?!\" Having individual colors allowed us to quickly assign team colors and set up organized stations without any confusion. The moment I received the storage item, which included the headphones and noise-cancelling headphones, my students were excited to use them. It was the beginning of the school year, and students were settling in with school supplies. I was getting ready to implement independent and station routines that required headphones. My students were allowed to enhance their learning by listening to their school applications online, which allowed them to obtain their personal accommodations when needed for testing and activities.\r\nIt has been a great help when the students are testing, and a few of them would like to have the noise cancellation during their testing. The headphones have also been helpful to the students who have accommodations, and they are able to use them because of the headphones! The students are grateful that they have the supplies they need to complete activities.
