The coolest part has been watching them as we read it together or on their own, and having moments of \"Are you kidding me?\" or \"That seems impossible!\" Them coming up with ideas of how we can take the science mentioned in the book and turn into experiments in the classroom has been so cool and engaging. This year doesn't even have enough time for us to really dive into all of these, so the start of next year, I foresee quite a few experiments coming our way! \r\n\r\nI've been wanting for years to find a way to transfer this story and the actual science behind it into something my students could grasp on to and take in their own direction. While I aimed for this to be a one-year sort of read and learn with engagement, I actually see this turning into a multi-year project to really boost their curiosity, their inventiveness, and their problem solving. Thanks for your help in making this dream more than reality and larger than I could have ever hoped!
