Students in my classroom are using novels independently. We are learning strategies in class to help students make meaning of texts, and they are reading novels to apply those skills. They will then complete a project of their choice to show their learning.\r\n\r\nStudents have been checking out the books provided, in my classroom, and have been reading them and talking about how much they love them.
