I am so excited to share these inclusive stories with my students for years to come! During these first two weeks of the school year, my students have already been introduced to 2 of the books bought with your generosity and have loved them! I can't wait to use these stories to promote an inclusive environment in my classroom where students learn more about themselves and their differences and all can accept that differences are what make us unique! \r\n\r\nWhen we were reading \"The Abilities in Me\" story about ADHD, I had two of my students realize that they were represented in the story. They had said \"Hey I also have ADHD!\" and \"Miss Byrne that's like me!\". This was one of the goals of this project: to help all of my students feel seen through the stories we read and have displayed in our classroom library.
