With your support, we added flexible, cozy floor seating and colored pencil caddies that have already made a meaningful difference in our daily routines. Students now choose the comfy floor seats during reading and small-group work, which has created a calm, inviting space where they can focus and feel at ease. During a recent writing lesson, one student curled up in a floor seat and proudly completed their first full sentence independently—something they had been hesitant to try before. The pencil caddies have also made materials easily accessible, encouraging independence and smoother transitions between activities.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious. There were wide eyes, big smiles, and lots of eager questions about when they could use the new seats and organize supplies in the caddies. It truly felt like a special moment of ownership for them—they recognized that these tools were just for their learning space. Since then, they've taken great care of the materials and are using them responsibly, which has helped build a stronger sense of community and pride in our classroom.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are continuing to build on our literacy and collaborative learning routines. Students will be using the flexible seating during guided reading groups and partner storytelling activities, where they practice listening, sharing ideas, and building confidence as readers and writers. The pencil caddies will support upcoming art-integrated projects, including illustrating their own stories and creating themed drawings connected to our reading units. Your generosity is helping create an environment where students feel comfortable, capable, and excited to learn each day—thank you for making that possible.","fullyFundedDate":1767804567415,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-refresh/9983534/","projectTitle":"Classroom Refresh","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Nicole","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10266933"},{"teacherId":10266933,"projectId":9722429,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the color printer you provided for our kindergarten classroom! The students are absolutely loving it. Seeing their work printed in bright colors has been so exciting for them, and it makes everyday activities like letter practice, math games, and artwork feel extra special. They are so proud when they get to take home or hang up something they created themselves.\r\n\r\nA few students in particular have really connected with this new technology. Some of our quieter kids light up when their colorful drawings come out of the printer and are eager to show them off.
