We were able to make various projects with different grade levels. So far we started with coil vases made by fourth graders. The fourth graders learned how to roll coils by hand and then form the vases.\r\nOnce the vases dried completely we painted them with metallic paint. Students could choose from gold, silver or bronze. They were able to create and take home a keepsake from their school year in fourth grade! \r\nSome of the coil vases even got placed into the district art show! \r\nMy students were super excited when they first saw the clay! They really enjoyed the break from the traditional drawing activities. \r\nThank you again for providing this exciting material for the students of Keyes!","fullyFundedDate":1765217999447,"projectUrl":"project/air-dry-clay-for-3d-elementary-art-proje/9843248/","projectTitle":"Air Dry Clay for 3D Elementary Art Projects","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9268343_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760728577950","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9268343"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_17280","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":707,"numTeachers":44,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":6,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":85,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"16.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":67.7,"schoolId":17280,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Paul Keyes Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Paul Keyes Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/irving-independent-school-district/paul-keyes-elementary-school/17280"}
