Thank you for being a part of mine.\r\n\r\nOne little story--amongst the amazing books that I asked for in this project were books from the series \"A Kids Book About\"--an amazing series that handles challenging real-life issues honestly and a kid's level. No one had really been attracted to these books all year (though there are maybe 30 to 40 of these books in my classroom and they are in a prominent spot). However, when we received these new titles from the series with this project, some of my students started to get curious. And then, a tidal wave of interest. Multiple students were taking stacks and stacks to their tables for independent reading and sharing little reports with friends as they finished. It was awesome! \r\n\r\nAnyways, thank you so much for being a part of my students' learning and a part of their future.
