For months my students would ask me for a capo to try the exercises in our curriculum that required capos and I would make them share the one that I had. This meant most wouod just skip the excercise. Once the capos you funded came in I placed them in a basket on my piano before class and then told the students to go to an exercise that required them. They were very excited and the engagement was the highest I have seen all year. \r\n Our students are learning how to change strings on the guitar, an essential skill for all guitar players. They are amazed at how much improvement new strings make on the sound of their instruments. It is as if we have been given new instruments.
