The for rockets are so popular I have had to assign them to six friends daily! They love using the suit seats for learning at the carpet because of the built in desk top, it's so much easier than even a clip board. \r\nFor my friends who need to get their wiggles out, the band for the chair legs are amazing! They hold up to the children beautifully. And the feet wiggler is great for my friends with test anxiety. Most of my students come from home with hard working parents trying their best to provide for their child. Cleaning supplies, such as clorox wipes, are not on our supply list. They are a wish list item, without any expectation of them being provided. \r\n\r\nSeeing these items come into our classroom created so much excitement! They couldn't wait to open them up and use them. I let each of them clean their own desks, and a few things around the room. The screen cleaners for their iPads were a huge bit as well. \r\n\r\nWe are also very grateful for the headphones. They were such a great help during our end of year testing. Headphones are a hard item to keep in good shape with Littles, so these are our special testing ones only. \r\n\r\nYou have made a difference in the lives of all my little friends. We have our morning meeting on it daily. The kids love to sit on it for any learning we are doing. They love to sit on it for our soft morning start-creating with our STEM activities!\r\n\r\n I wish you could have seen their faces light up when we rolled out the rug. All of the comments were adorable-\"Look at the rainbow smiles!\" \"How did we get this!?!\" \"Can we sit on it?\" They helped me arrange it in just the right spot for all of them to use it. They counted the smiley faces, they talked about the primary colors in it, and they work hard to keep it clean. They are very proud of it.\r\n\r\n Having this new rug has given my students are place to come together as communicators, collaborators, and most importantly as a classroom family. It has also given them a sense of pride in our classroom to have something so nice and different from others in our school. We love working together, and soon we will begin creating some amazing line plots together using data gathered from one another. Thank for contributing to our classroom. It is amazing to be able to provide my students with more hands on learning and tactile objects.\r\n\r\nI use these materials a few different ways. One way is for students to work towards using these items by completing assignments. The next way is for students to calm down. A third way these items are used are for recess time. A fourth way is an incentive time. Another way is at the end of each quarter students who have no write-ups get to choose an activity to go to and students come to my room to use these materials.\r\n\r\nMy students are in awe at the materials and tools I have for them to use and \"play\" with. They cannot believe all of the things, both donated and purchased myself, they have to use and build with. It is such an amazing feeling knowing I, along with others, can provide these tools for my students. \r\n\r\nThese items will be used for many years to come. I am so glad to have an are in my class available for my students to get hands on, have tactile objects, and to allow them to just be kids.
