I have 5 year olds that are writing code to program the Ozobots to navigate a map. They are excited about learning in a way I have never seen! They are able to activate the bots, draw the path and add extras like speed, lights, u turns, etc... The knowledge they are gaining through the Ozobots can be used and applied throughout their lives in various ways. They are gaining invaluable knowledge in the area of computer science. The looks on their faces as they realized they were the ones programming the bots to respond and how altering the code changed the response was so exciting for me as a teacher. The bots and the programming is simple enough that all students were able to participate and be successful!\r\nThis is a donation that can continue to be used throughout this year and many years to come. The financial donation has benefited potentially hundreds of students as I continue to teach over the coming years.
