The sport of pickleball is growing for a reason and our students became hooked on the game. This one was the biggest hit so far!\r\nThe next steps with our project will be an afterschool pickleball club with students that are interested in playing the game. There are no more disruptions and we are able to spend our time in the classroom focusing on what truly matters. When my students walked in the room to see their pocket chairs their faces lit up. Many of them screamed, \"I love them! This is the best day ever!\" It might sound silly to think that a bunch of 9 year olds would be so excited about a piece of cloth hanging on the back of their chair, but they truly were so grateful to not have to worry about sharing their space anymore.\r\nThe erasers were also a big hit! My students ask me daily for a new eraser. When I gave each of them their very own eraser they were so excited.
