My students were so excited when they first saw the new materials and immediately began imagining what they could create. They love working with their hands, and these resources are giving them opportunities to explore engineering, architecture, artistic design, and problem-solving through hands-on challenges. Students are creating building structures, and experimenting with different ideas while learning that they can redesign, try again, and turn mistakes into new possibilities.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue transforming our art classroom into a creative STEAM makerspace where students can design, build, invent, and collaborate. They will continue working on open-ended projects that encourage imagination, perseverance, and creative thinking. Because many of our students come from diverse backgrounds and face financial challenges that can limit access to creative resources, having these materials at school is especially meaningful.
