Your thoughtfulness and support truly make a meaningful difference in our classroom. By providing these treats, you are helping create an environment where students feel cared for, valued, and energized to do their best.\r\n\r\nSnacks like these play an important role in helping students stay focused and alert throughout the school day. When students have access to healthy and fun snacks, they are better able to concentrate, participate actively in lessons, and maintain their energy during learning activities. The Rice Krispy Treats and Bunny Crackers quickly became favorites in our classroom, and it was wonderful to see the excitement on their faces as they enjoyed them. Your contribution not only nourishes their bodies but also brings moments of joy and motivation that positively impact their day.\r\n\r\nYour thoughtful generosity helps foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students can thrive academically and socially. I immediately started imagining all the possibilities for our classroom bulletin boards and how much brighter and more welcoming they could become. I couldn't wait to transform our walls into spaces that truly highlighted my students' hard work. I knew the colorful and beautiful borders would make their projects stand out and make them feel proud to see their work displayed for everyone to admire.\r\n\r\nThe first place I used the borders was on our Parent Information bulletin board. This board is where I share helpful resources, announcements, and parent education topics to support families. Adding the new borders instantly made the board more inviting and eye-catching. It helped turn what used to be a plain space into a place where parents can easily notice and engage with important information.\r\n\r\nThe biggest change, however, was how the students reacted to the classroom displays. Before, the boards often blended into the background because they looked plain and uninteresting. Students rarely paid attention to them. Once the new borders were up and their work started appearing on the boards, everything changed. Suddenly, students were excited and curious. They began walking up to the boards, pointing out their projects, and proudly showing their classmates where their work was displayed.\r\n\r\nNow, students look forward to seeing what will go up next and feel a sense of pride when they find their work showcased. The bulletin boards have become more than just decorations—they are now spaces that celebrate student effort, creativity, and growth. Thank you for helping make our classroom brighter and for giving our students a place where their hard work can truly shine.","fullyFundedDate":1758636773894,"projectUrl":"project/creating-bulletin-boards/9680011/","projectTitle":"Creating Bulletin Boards","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jimenez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1177785_orig.jpg?crop=644,644,x0,y253&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1644454533775","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1177785"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_7518","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":285,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":98,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"13.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":79.0,"schoolId":7518,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Park Avenue Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Park Avenue Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/los-angeles-unified-school-district/park-avenue-elementary-school/7518"}
