They couldn't wait to grab a marker and start sharing their ideas. The whiteboards instantly turned our classroom into a space where students felt safe to take risks, make mistakes, and learn from them. Suddenly, solving a tough problem or brainstorming an idea didn't feel intimidating—it felt like a game we were all playing together.\r\n\r\nOne of the most powerful moments came during a recent group activity where students had to work through a challenging science problem. Instead of hesitating, they dove right in, drawing diagrams, jotting down hypotheses, and crossing out errors without fear. The whiteboards gave them the freedom to try, erase, and try again, and it was inspiring to see how much more engaged and collaborative they became.\r\n\r\nThese whiteboards are now a daily staple in our classroom, used for everything from quick warm-ups to group problem-solving challenges. They've helped build confidence, encouraged teamwork, and fostered creativity in ways I couldn't have imagined. Our next steps are to expand their use into our STEM-novation projects, where students will design, test, and revise their ideas directly on the boards before building prototypes. Thank you for giving my students the tools to become true risk takers in learning!","fullyFundedDate":1660060204510,"projectUrl":"project/whiteboards-for-risk-takers/6460121/","projectTitle":"Whiteboards for Risk Takers!","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Bullins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7403781_orig.jpg?crop=1863,1863,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755122134247","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/dr-bullins"},{"teacherId":9935646,"projectId":9142736,"letterContent":"We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for your incredible generosity and support for our special education prom!
