The new resources have already made a wonderful impact in my third grade classroom. I am encouraging my students to read every night, and the new additions to our classroom library have inspired them to choose books that truly interest them. The colorful markers and Sharpies allow me to create exciting and interactive anchor charts that help my students demonstrate their understanding of important standards. I have also been using the TPT gift cards to purchase supplemental materials that provide engaging, curriculum-aligned activities, allowing students to practice their skills in fun and meaningful ways. The fidget toys have also been a wonderful resource, helping students stay focused on the task at hand and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nMy students were overjoyed when they saw all of the new materials! They especially loved exploring the various new book series. One of my favorite memories this year so far was introducing our classroom library and watching my students explore all of the book choices. I truly believe these new books will encourage them to read every night, while also helping them discover which genres and types of stories they enjoy most.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the year, my students will continue to use these resources in meaningful ways. For example, when we begin our fraction unit in the spring, students will use the magnetic fraction pie pieces to visualize and better understand different fraction amounts. I am so grateful to the donors who helped make this project come to life in my classroom. I especially want to thank The Wonderful Company!
