My students were very eager to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. My students wrote in their journals a few times a week illustrating and monitoring the life cycle of the butterflies beginning with a baby caterpillar growing and developing into a Monarch Butterfly! The students enjoyed watching the caterpillars grow and change in their habitats and they also set up the food/nectar in their habitats. \r\n\r\n Thanks a million for your donation to our Entomologist Unit on Bugs. When it was time to release the butterflies into the wild, my students were excited and another class at our school joined us.
