Because of your donations, I was able to provide all 110 students in my welding program with a brand-new pair of high-quality welding gloves. The students were genuinely grateful and excited to receive them, as several would not have been able to afford new gloves on their own. Seeing a classroom full of students proudly raising their new gloves was a wonderful moment, and I hope the pictures help show just how much your kindness means to them. These gloves are now being used regularly as students handle metal, practice welding techniques, and develop the skills needed to succeed in the welding industry.\r\n\r\nI am especially happy to share that we have now gone 45 days into the school year without a single injury in our welding program! After experiencing an unusually high number of hand injuries last school year, this is an accomplishment that means a great deal to me. While safety training and proper shop procedures remain essential, having reliable protective equipment has been an important part of keeping my students safe. These gloves are also durable enough to potentially last the entire school year, provided students take good care of them. This means your generosity will continue making a difference throughout the year.\r\n\r\nAs my students continue developing their welding and fabrication skills, they are preparing for opportunities that extend far beyond our classroom. Over the years, students in this program have earned scholarships to trade schools, won professional tools and equipment, and even received job offers before graduating. Having the proper safety equipment allows them to focus on learning and improving their skills while reducing their risk of injury. It serves as an essential communications partner, allowing students with speech impairments to practice their articulation and confidently share their thoughts.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part of this new product for my students is the immediate, engaging feedback they receive. They view the tailored digital lessons as an interactive game rather than a difficult chore, which keeps them deeply motivated. At the same time, the physical tools just like the pop fidgets and emotion plushies, have been an absolute hit. They give my students a hands-on, comforting way to regulate their sensory needs and express big emotions right at their desks, keeping them calm and ready to absorb new information.\r\n\r\nSome of my students with communication anxieties have especially warmed to this technology. One student, who used to sit quietly during group activities , now eagerly uses the device to practice sounds and participate alongside peers.
