Several of them immediately asked if they could help organize everything, and others couldn't wait to earn rewards and participate. One student commented, \"Now I don't have to sit through class hungry anymore,\" which captured exactly why this project mattered so much.\r\n\r\nWe use the food daily. Having healthy snacks on hand has turned moments of distraction and low energy into opportunities for students to refocus and stay engaged in learning. For example, one afternoon after a long test, several students were exhausted and fidgety. Passing out snacks helped them settle back into small-group activities with renewed energy, and they produced some of their best work that week. It has been a simple but powerful shift in our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThe students' reaction showed me how much these small supports matter. Many of my kids come to class without enough to eat, and now they know there is always something waiting for them. This has created a sense of security and care in our classroom community.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my students are diving into new projects with more confidence. Having their basic needs met means they can devote their full attention to activities like collaborative activities and Spanish conversation practice. Your generosity has allowed them to focus on learning rather than hunger, and that is a gift with lasting impact.\r\n\r\nThank you, Ripple, for making sure my \"Hungry Hungry Kiddos\" are not just learning, but thriving.","fullyFundedDate":1746786325670,"projectUrl":"project/hungry-hungry-kiddos/9319064/","projectTitle":"Hungry Hungry Kiddos!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Holley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10013524"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_47095","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":2316,"numTeachers":91,"percentFrplEligible":49,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":75,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"25.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":54.5,"schoolId":47095,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pace High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pace High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/santa-rosa-county-school-district/pace-high-school/47095"}
