The impact has definitely improved our students' speech sessions in many ways. Now the clinician rarely encounters a student with a device that hasn't been charged. Many parents have shared that, unfortunately due to personal reasons, they are unable to charge the child's device before they arrive to school. The clinician can empathize with the situation and now assure them that there are enough chargers in the classroom for the teachers to ensure that the devices are charged. That way, the device can be used at home and at school. You have made a difference not only for the student's speech therapy session, but also their daily life at home and at school. They now have more opportunities than not to use their communication device throughout the day without fear of battery life.
