My students are using these resources every day, and your generosity has helped make our classroom activities more engaging, organized, and productive.\r\n\r\nWe recently completed a unit on creating professional résumés. I used the playing cards and index cards to randomly group students for different activities, giving them opportunities to collaborate with a variety of classmates. During our peer-feedback activity, students moved around the classroom, viewed their classmates' résumés on the computers, and wrote suggestions on lined paper using markers so their feedback would stand out. This activity helped students strengthen their résumés while also gaining new ideas from their peers.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited to see the new materials and immediately began putting them to use. They especially enjoyed the interactive activities and the opportunity to work with different classmates. Our résumé unit concluded with a workshop during which local business professionals met with small groups of students to review their résumés and offer real-world advice.\r\n\r\nNext, students will learn about essential workplace skills and begin completing their Capstone Projects. I will continue using these resources to support group activities, peer feedback, brainstorming, and project development. The tissues and hand sanitizer have also helped keep our classroom clean and healthy—and I am happy to report that I have not been sick at all since the school year began!\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving my students the tools they need to learn, collaborate, and prepare for their futures.
