Because of your kindness, our students now have access to technology that is making a meaningful difference in their daily learning experiences.\r\n\r\nWhile many people use technology at home for communication, entertainment, or work, in our classroom it serves as a powerful tool for learning, exploration, and engagement. The new technology allows students to access educational activities that support language development, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration. It provides opportunities for students to learn at their own pace while receiving immediate feedback, helping them build confidence and independence as learners.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects of this new technology for our students is the ability to interact with learning in a hands-on and engaging way. Their enthusiasm is evident each day as they eagerly participate in activities that incorporate the new tools. Students who were once hesitant to engage in certain tasks are now excited to participate and take on new challenges.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who previously struggled to remain engaged during instructional activities have shown increased focus and participation when using the technology. Others have become more willing to communicate, collaborate with peers, and demonstrate their understanding through interactive learning experiences. Watching their confidence grow has been one of the most rewarding outcomes of this project.\r\nThis project had a significant impact on my students' learning by providing engaging resources that increased participation, curiosity, and opportunities for individualized instruction. The materials allowed me to create more interactive learning experiences that supported the diverse needs of my students while strengthening critical early learning skills such as communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. As a result, students demonstrated increased confidence, sustained engagement, and greater independence during classroom activities. Thanks to the generous support of PNC Grow Up Great®, I was able to enhance my instruction and create a richer learning environment where all students could thrive and reach their full potential.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has provided more than just technology—it has created new opportunities for our students to learn, explore, and succeed. On behalf of our entire classroom, thank you for investing in our students and helping us create an engaging and supportive learning environment.","fullyFundedDate":1774963784084,"projectUrl":"project/curious-pre-k-learners-need-help/9970180/","projectTitle":"Curious Pre-K Learners Need Help!","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Gonzalez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10390546"},{"teacherId":10439289,"projectId":10112497,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredible support in providing our classroom with three computers and two class sets of headphones. Your generosity made a meaningful and lasting difference for my students this year.\r\nAt the beginning of the school year, 100% of my students were performing below grade level in math. With access to these new resources, students were able to engage in targeted, personalized practice and fully participate in digital learning experiences that were previously out of reach. Because of you, we ended the year with 68% of students reaching grade level in math, and an incredible 89% of students grew at least one grade level.\r\nThe headphones in particular transformed our classroom environment. Students were able to focus during independent practice, engage with interactive programs, and participate in activities such as video storyboards—where they could collaborate with peers, present their ideas, and build confidence in their communication skills. These opportunities helped develop not only their academic abilities, but also their creativity and voice.\r\nYour donation also played a critical role in creating a calm, focused testing environment. With access to headphones, students were able to concentrate and perform at their best during standardized testing. As a result, 92% of students met their typical growth goal in math, far exceeding the national average of 50%. Even more impressively, 81% of students met their stretch growth goal, compared to the national average of just 30%.\r\nThe growth we saw this year was truly remarkable. At the beginning of the year, 41% of students were performing at a kindergarten level. By the end of the year, that number dropped to just 3%—only one student.\r\nNone of this progress would have been possible without you. Your support gave my students access, confidence, and the tools they needed to succeed. Thank you for believing in them and investing in their future.","fullyFundedDate":1776480018789,"projectUrl":"project/bridging-the-digital-divide/10112497/","projectTitle":"Bridging the Digital Divide","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McDaniel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10439289"},{"teacherId":10351627,"projectId":9897910,"letterContent":"When I introduced the new math manipulatives and resources, donated by Donor Choose, the students were thrilled! 😊 They eagerly explored the counters, worked problems on the whiteboards with dry erase markers, and used erasers to correct their work. The kindergarten and 1st-grade students quickly grasped the concepts, using the materials to build number sense and solve problems.\r\n\r\nI'm grateful for the Donor Choose donations, which have transformed math class into a engaging and interactive experience. The materials are being used daily in small groups and centers, helping students develop a deeper understanding of math concepts. With the new resources, I can tailor instruction to meet individual needs, making math more accessible and fun for all learners. I'm thankful for the support, which has enriched the learning environment and boosted student enthusiasm for math! 🙌","fullyFundedDate":1765205120213,"projectUrl":"project/fostering-future-leaders/9897910/","projectTitle":"Fostering Future Leaders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Coke","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10351627"},{"teacherId":7177290,"projectId":9237270,"letterContent":"My students and I are truly grateful for your generosity! The moment they received the new materials, their eyes lit up with awe and excitement. They could not wait for every opportunity to come to my room and explore the tools.\r\n\r\nAs an inclusion Special Education teacher, I work with students in the general education setting, in small groups, and during intervention blocks. Having access to these amazing learning resources has allowed me to share them with many students across different settings.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding experiences has been witnessing the joy and pride on their faces when they finally grasp a strategy that helps them read. By connecting the concrete to the abstract—for example, using objects with initial sounds and letters—students began to make meaningful connections. Tracing letters on sand cards before writing them down boosted their confidence and supported their memory.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been remarkable: student engagement has increased, and my pre-K and kindergarten students have started connecting letter sounds and reading CV and CVC words.\r\n\r\nThis has been one of the most enchanting and rewarding experiences of my teaching career.
