The kids gathered around while we opened the boxes, and every cushion that came out was met with cheers and big smiles. They were squeezing them, stacking them, and immediately asking when they could use them. It felt less like opening classroom supplies and more like opening presents. That moment alone showed me how excited they were about having something new and special in their space.\r\n\r\nNow, we use the cushions mostly during independent reading and work time. Students grab one, find a cozy spot around the room, and settle in with their books or writing. It's amazing how something so simple helps them focus longer and take more ownership of their learning. Instead of rushing through work, they slow down and really dig in. Independent reading feels calmer and more intentional, and work time has become one of the most productive parts of our day. The cushions have truly made our classroom feel more comfortable, welcoming, and student-centered.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your donations towards our classroom.
